Designed by Fisher Body Division of General Motors Corporation Manufactured by Silver Creations, circa 1973 Marks: Silver Creations, Ltd, 1973, 0 30 2/ 1000, STERLING SILVER 7 x 18-3/4 x 5-1/2 inches (17.8 x 47.6 x 14.0 cm) 166.6 ounces (gross) Modeled after the coaches of Napoleon I with many moving parts including rotating wheels, fold away stairs, opening doors, suspension system and removable horse tack, set on red velvet buttoned display platform with gold trim, set on black Plexiglas plinth with metal label engraved: OFFICIAL GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY FISHER BODY COACH 1923-1973 DONALD R. ZIMMERMAN, fitted clear Plexiglas cover. Fisher Body, the major supplier of auto bodies to General Motors, commissioned 1,000 models of this coach in 1973 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the firm's trademark registration.
